Ok so Im getting the Pioneer Headunit AVH-P2300DVD and I wanted to hook up my xbox in my car to be flashy lol. But I have a few questions.

I was planning on buying a 12v power inverter and I like the idea of running it straight from the battery but I dont want clips at the ends like jumper cables like on this: http://www.amazon.com/Roadpro-Battery-Clip-On-Ciga...

Can I just cut the ends off and attach like the washer rings so it would be secure on the battery?
