Im 17(male) and I've gotten over 16 migraines in one week. About 2 a day sometimes 3. These are SEVERE migraines... sensitive to light, nauseous, vomiting, the pain is extremely bad, ect. Triptans (relpax,maxalt) worked for the first 3-4 migraines then stopped working. Taking OTC meds(advil,tyenol) don't work a bit. Got put on prednisone few days ago and still having migraines. Got a MRI done and everything is normal. I got migraines last year in november but got them every other day and it went away in a week and didn't get one since to this november. Home remedies dont work, seriously nothing works. My mom gave me vicodin the other day because she cant see me in such pain which did work but I heard you can get rebound headaches from them and rather not get somewhat addicted to them since I get 2-3 migraines a day. Someone help me...Ive been missing school for a week and broke since I cant go to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Kyle. I'm 13 and a girl. I've had this before, except 12 migrains in 6 days. And so, it sounds like u have a brain tumor, because I did have an MRI scan, nd I had a medium brain tumor. This is when I was 11. So the brain tumor got taken out. So, ya, I would say to go to a specialist cause obviously th doctor who did an Mri scan on u, is wrong. Cause 16 migrains in 1 week is a sign of a brain tumor. Goodluck.
Ever try Naproxen Sodium? It's sort of a pain reliever and works for my chronic migraine.
