Hi

I am an Australian overseas student and I'm currently having a temporarily visa for a period of 3 years (year 10,11 and 12 highschool)

This is the end of my 2nd year here.

I wish to become an Australian citizen. And I was told that I need to have a permanent visa for 2 years before I can apply for a citizenship.

Being an overseas students sponsored by my cousin (who is an Australian citizen), can I apply for a permanent visa at the end of this year?

If yes, please tell me how (i.e the procedures..)
