I had three goldfish, they seemed very unactive and just sat on the top of the water most of the day, but today one died in the morning and one died about an hour ago, I bought them all seperately because the shop wouldn't let me buy them at once, but the one that is still alive is the one that was put in most recently. Could they have been killed?

Did you cycle the tank? What size was it? Did you have a filter? Did you use a dechlorinator? Did you adjust the goldfish slowly to the tank?
The answers to these questions will help us figure out how they died.
Did you cycle your tank because your tank needs to go threw he nitrogen cycle before putting in fish how to cycle you may ask like this
1 get gravel from a healthy tank (or used filter cartridges )
2 let the tank cycle with filter for about 8 weeks you can lower the time by accelarting the time by using the things in step one
3 at two weeks (if you did the things in step 1) do a 20% water change
there are so many reasons on how a fish can die.
1. if you tap on the glass it can stress them out.
2. you may have too much algae in the water
3. your ph levels may be too high causing disease
4. your filter b may dirty and needs to be cleaned
5. the tank may be too small
I'm sorry but someone killed your goldfish.
