Does Steam run on Windows 7?
Ok, we just got a brand new PC, and I really want to get TF2 for it. However, when I looked into Steam, it said that to use it you need Windows 2000/XP/Vista. 7 is newer than all those, so it should work, right?

no... there are compatability issues with newer models so they have to develop new software to update
its like they developed a motor thats compatible with 2005 - 2008 car but they released a new car in 2009 with better components but the whole layup of the car is changed so the engin wont fit anymore
you can try cuz windows 7 is ismilar to vista and it only took a year to make one
