I noticed it about a month ago, but actually check it out today. Its really small and it feels like a little hard ball under the skin. But the color looks slightly dark, and it has two small brown spots on it. But its completely painless. Im only 19 years old, and as for cancer running in the family, its a pretty long list. But as for my parents, my Dad had skin cancer and lung cancer. And if you guys could give me some responses other then "Go to the doctor!" Thatd be great since I have no insurance and Id like to make sure it was serious before wasting the money.
Update:Wow. Im in Florida, not really sure how I posted in the Canada section lol

It's not wasting your money when it comes to your health and making sure you are safe. You are posting in the Canada Answers section so I'm assuming you are from Canada. Canada has free health care, as long as you have a health card you can go to any doctor and have it checked out. I am not a doctor yet so I am not gonna diagnose you, but if you feel it's starting to make you worry, a trip to the doctors would be a safe bet. I know you didn't want to hear that but it really is better to be safe than sorry.
Good luck.
It's either just a small lump in your lymph nodes swelling up which is nothing happens all the time. Or what I have which is very contagous and dangerous which is staph infection. Same place. But that hurts like crazy so I would say it's just the lymph nodes. If you don't wanna go to the doctor then call them and explain it :) good luck!
