For the past few days, I've noticed some pains under my ribs on both sides, that even go into my stomach. It feels like a muscle tightening up, and then it relieves itself and the pain lingers. When I rub over the area, it feels like bruised muscles. I've always been experiencing severe heartburn, burning throat, stuffy nose, and chest pains with this. I also feel like I have a lump in my throat. I was diagnosed with acid reflux disease when I was 10 years old.
Last week I went to the Hospital, and found out I have severe anxiety - and that I needed to stress less, and relax more. I was having panic attacks every 5 minutes, and wasn't eating food. The food I did eat, I had to force myself to nibble on. Now when I eat, and get this pain, my stomach feels VERY bloated under my ribs, and in the middle of my stomach. I also belch a lot.
My mother who is a nurse said it sounds like a horrible acid reflux attack to her. She told me to take some tums, and eat smaller meals. I have done so, but found no relief. The stomach pain under the ribs (was on the right side last night) was so sore, I had to sleep sitting kind of up-ward, and couldn't turn in that direction.
Does this sound like horrible acid reflux, or what? I have no medical insurance as of right now, since I'm out of work and going to school full-time. I can't really afford another Hospital bill, but I'm beginning to think that's my only option. :/
Update:Also, I've already had my gall bladder removed. Had that done about 5 years ago, when I was having similar symptoms. I had all kinds of scans/ultrasounds/blood work done and they didn't find anything else. When I went to the Hospital last week, I also had blood tests run, and they said everything was 100% - so I'm at a loss as of what it could be. :/

Severe anxiety did almost the same thing to me. A script for an anti anxiety will help a lot. It just takes time to kick in. I was in pain for about 8 weeks before it settled.
