Depends on what you're trying to use it for. If you just want credits for points for civilian ed for promotion, then first you need to enroll in a school and complete at least one class. Once you've completed one class, you go to ARRTS http://aarts.army.mil/ and get your military transcripts forwarded to your school. Then voila, promotion points.
If you want it to use towards an actual degree, it will depend on the school and program you're going for. At the least, most of it will count towards electives. And most of it will not count nearly as much as you'd like. For medics, we get 1 credit of pharmacology in AIT. Which is useless, because every school with a related degree require 3-4 credits in pharamology.
