Well since the middle of June I decided to diet after I found out my wife had been cheating on me. I figure if i can lose a little weight I'll feel a little more comfortable in my own skin and i hopefully mprove the quality of our relationship. My diet has gradually got stricter and stricter as July progressed.
My diet consists of eating 4 eggs a day (Low calorie/Atkins combined) and I take a multivitamin every morning. I drink mainly water and have a cup of black coffee before working out. (hopefully preserve my muscle)
I do around 10-30 push-ups a day, 10-30 sit-ups, have a nightly walk, and sometimes go swimming.
I haven't experienced any major side-effects other than a feeling of extreme panic at night time. Also weakness and headaches. Oh I'm 6'3 and weighed just under 200 pounds before i started dieting, really don't know what i'm down to now but it's definitely working considering none of pants fit.
My question is; Am i in any immediate danger, or is it safe to continue?
Cheers

extreme panic,weakness, and headaches.
that's not good.
perserving muscle on 4 eggs a day.
common sense says that's not happening. your body is eating itself for nutrition including your muscles for a source of protein.
First of all it sounds like you should be eating more. Another thing.. Counting calories is a huge pain and does not work!! This last fall I started a low carb/low sugar diet (20g Each) and worked out for at least thiry minutes a day (moderate intensity). I lost fifteen pounds in three weeks. It's the easiest diet ever. Just stick to veggies and meat. And the best part is that if you make a meal that has no sugar or carbs then you can eat as much as you want. This diet also decrease your appetite (a healthy side effect)
Try the weight watchers program it could help you watch what you eat every day
