I have been working a new job and currently am in my third day of training. My babysitter just informed me last night that she will no longer be able to babysit in the mornings. I immediately contacted HR and my new manager and told them that I would have to change my schedule. My amount of hours won't change just the times. Will they not allow me to continue my employment or will they work with me? Did I do the right thing by telling them right away???

It's up to them whether they say OK an work with you, or just replace you with someone who can work the hours you were working. But in any case, yes you did the right thing letting them know right away.
Any time you inform your employer of a change in availability, you risk losing hours or worse.
Most employers are not so flexible with their business hours. You need a more reliable sitter - one who won't change her availability on short notice.
