I've used the ones that came with the machine and I need to buy new ones but I know nothing about films, cameras or manufactures. Technology goes right over my head. Which would you buy, as the price works out all the same. Would it be TDK or Panasonic or Sony?
Update:thanks.will get them

Just came across your question.
I have used Sony for many years, out of hundreds I have had maybe 2 that were faulty. I expect people have had the same results with other makes,
Just a word of note, Whatever you choose stick to them, you are asking for problems if you start to change the tapes. They are supposed to be the same, tapes probably are more or less but different manufacturers use slightly different Lubrication, and this can cause your camera to give you dirty head warnings, the Lubricant clogs up the heads. so if you change the maker, make sure that the heads are perfectly clean. before you use another make.
Good luck

on the camcorder seek for a video out cable or a firewire and plug directly to the enter of the DVD recorder. The DVD recorder delivers you with one hour of superb video. it purely isn't the utmost extreme high quality yet rather close. in case you like the utmost extreme high quality circulate you need to maintain on with a laptop and the firewire selection to an enhancing utility which will circulate and encode on the utmost selection.
TDK are the best ones
