Why do I feel dizzy when I sit or stand up straight? If I slouch, then the dizziness goes away...?
Lately I've been trying to improve my posture, and when I try to sit or stand without slouching, I get really dizzy. Almost to the point of vomiting. Any one have any ideas?
Jordan, Like me you could have what's called (Orthostatic Hypotension) simple meaning when you stand from a sitting or laying position your Blood Pressure takes a dive, everyone's B/P drops slightly when u stand but if it drops 20 points or more it's a problem. The treatment is simple if my B/P top #(systolic) drops under 90 i have to take a pure sodium pill since salt raises the B/P the pill raises pretty fast, My B/P has dropped too much to the point of passing out and i did many times before the problem was diagnosed. See ur Doctor before u try anything to make sure it is what i think. Good Luck
