I've had this internet problem for quite some time now where the internet is fine and working, but it will stop working on all connected devices between for 20 to 30 minutes. I know for a fact it's not the router, because we just bought a new one today and the problem is still persisting. I have 2 desktop computers, a laptop, and an xbox connected to the network. Comcast told me it's not the modem, but I think it still might be but I'm not sure. I've tried resetting the router and the modem several times. It's only an issue because I can't play xbox live because I get kicked out of games once in a while.
Update:I already talked to my ISP they said it's probably a "bandwidth issue" because there's so many things using one router, but only a few use the router at a time.

well if you 2 desktop, laptop, and xbox get disconnected at the same time then there is something wrong with your internet modem/ router, try calling tou ISP.
I'm not saying you can't use a independent router but you would get better service if you had bought a cable gateway instead they work a whole lot better than trying to bundle a modem and router. As far as your problem this could be the cause intermittent problems have always been almost impossible to determine.
