I've never used their .270 ammo, but I've fired off a few boxes of other cartridges from S&B, and from what I've seen is it's pretty decent ammo. In my experience, the accuracy is on par with other manufacturers, it doesn't really seem to be any dirtier than domestic ammo (can be an issue with some imports, especially Russian). For the price it's hard to beat actually. I've seen claims that some American ammo makers will turn to S&B when they need to catch up on their orders, but have no proof as to that so take it for what it's worth. Supposedly S&B is one of the more common ammo makers in Europe.
And there's nothing about it that will mess up your barrel, short of the regular cleaning that you'll do with any other ammo.
I have never used any but I can't imagine anything being wrong with it. You should be able to Remington .270 ammo at Walmart for $17-$18 if you have a Walmart near you.
No, that is not true at all. S&B has been producing quality ammunition for many years. I have used it on many occasions and find it to be nothing short of excellent. I have never heard of a single incident of damage etc from S&B ammo.

I've fired Seller & Bellot ammunition. It seemed just fine in my experience.
Granted it wasn't .270. It was .223, .303 British, .380 and 9mm.
I'd purchase Sellier & Bellot ammunition again.
