I'm being sent magazines that I didn't subscribe to. Will they bill me for it? I'm 100% sure I didn't sign up for them..I'm unsure as to how they got my name and address in the first place..??
You are not responsible for paying for something you didn't order. Conversely, you should advise the company that they are coming to you in error, so that they can correct their mailing lists. Inside the magazine in the first few pages will be information with the names of the publisher, editors, and the magazine's address. Toward the bottom, you should see something about subscriber services with contact information. Send them the mailing label from the magazine and tell them the situation.
If in the meantime, you do get a bill, write across it that you didn't order it and to please stop mailing it to you.
Call them and check. It's possible that someone else has had you a one year free subscription. There are many offers out like that this time of year.....but you need to check on it to be sure and cancel if necessary.
