Does anyone have a good recommendation for a language school in Japan? One that is a year long program, maybe only half days, so I could possibly work part time, Offer living accommodations, and is not too expensive?
Update:I should include I would like the school to be in a big city. Maybe Osaka, or Kyoto. Getting a visa I can do myself. After going to the language school I would like to take my JLPT and go from there. Maybe find a job, the typical teaching job, I know Japanese is not required to be an english teacher but I'd like to learn Japanese fully first.

I went to the Naganuma School in Shibuya, Tokyo. It is one of the oldest Japanese schools in the country and I found it excellent (it is not cheap though).

There are a lot of them, so you really got to narrow it down a little. Do you want a big city or a small town? What are you planning to do once you finish the course? Do you need the school to be your visa sponsor? Do you need to go all out for JLPT 1, or do you just want some sort of sabbatical in Japan? Typically it's only a half day of classroom time, but it usually requires lots of "homework" as well.
There are exceptions, but usually you have to find your own place to live. I attended this one, back in the early 90s. Therefore I can't tell you what they have done lately-hence I won't say they are good, bad or indifferent-but the fact they are still around says something.

There are eastern language colleges, yet there are visa standards. you need to have a minimum of a million million yen in a eastern financial company account to conceal your costs, and you elect a visa guarantor (many circumstances the college will act as one, yet in addition they can charge you many in line with month for the privilege. it must be very annoying to do as a minor, and you will do extra helpful to keep your money and bypass as an person.
