My kitten has regular cat flu. But sometimes when I am with her, you hear her sniff for air, but her nose is so blocked that she can't breathe. I have to wipe it with a damp tissue to clear it but what would happen if I wasn't there? Can she breathe through her mouth if this happens? Please help me!
Update:I have already taken her to the vet and they gave her antibiotics

No such thing as 'regular' cat flu. In cats it's a more serious illness than in humans. You are doing the right thing getting her treated, so hopefully it will be fine. Keep wiping her nose, and phone the vet for advice if you are worried. And get her vaccinated when she's well: they can get it more than once.
Make sure you give her a full course of antibiotics pursuant to your vet's instructions. If it does not clear up her upper respiratory infection she may have to go back to the vet for another round. These is serious but not nessarily fatal in kittens.
you should have ask the vet this question. i would be very worried if she is having trouble breathing. is she a baby? most cats clean themselves, including thier face. poor baby. hope she gets better quick.good luck. and maybe you could call the vet and ask.
if your cat is taking antibiotics, she will get better. and i would think she could breathe through her mouth....
That's sad... have you taken a second opinion? Hope your kitten will get well soon.
hopefully the antibiotics will work. :D i hope your kitten gets well soon
take her too a vet.
She is as good as dead.
