You're right Jordon, and Devin will agree once he learns how to pronounce the word g-r-e-n-a-d-e ! There are other terms used in military jargon that are equally confusing. The rank of Colonel (Kernal); the weapon saber, sometimes referred to as a sword; the rank of lieutenant ( lou-tenant) is yet another; the rank of sergeant (sargent) is yet another; and' I'm sure others will add to this list of hard to know nouns. Oh yeah, the title Corpsman has been misused by our CIC. His version: Corpseman !
