I'd go with Sproles. While they're both technically backups, Sproles plays a much more expansive role in the Saints offense. Plus he's also a scoring threat on punt returns.

I like both players and Hillis will get redzone touches but not a lot of over all yards but I would go with sproles he will get receiving yards and some carries as well and be a big part of the Saints offense.
