I'm a Junior at a Washington state high school and I'm extremely nervous for college applications (which will be coming up pretty soon..).
My GPA right now is 3.95 and I think it may drop a little after junior year, since I'm taking all AP and Honors courses. But I only think it should drop to maybe a 3.92 or somewhere around there. Hopefully I can get it back up after senior year..
But I DO participate in a lot of extracurricular activities such as Tennis and Cross Country (Which I will be starting this year). I am involved in many clubs such as FCCLA (Family Career Community Leaders of America), Book Club (of which I was the founder of and the president), Key Club, French Club, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).
I am also involved in many volunteer activies like volunteering at the Care Center reading to the patients there, Special Olympics, Santa's Workshop, Blood Drive, our public library, Sunday School as a teacher, Korean School teaching Korean to young children, and more... (I can't really think of everything.. haha).
I know I have a decent resume but I'm worried about my SAT and AP exams. I've taken the PSAT which I got a 162 on and I know the SATs will be harder so I'll probably get a 1550 or maybe even lower.. (Unless I just study so hard that I rip those SAT books apart.. ) but my question and worry is WHAT UNIVERSITY CAN I GET INTO?
And I'm definitely interested in majoring in Business like Marketing or Public Relations (Something similar to those, I'm just not 100% positive on what I want to do yet)
Please give me hints on how to pay for the Universities as well. Thank you!

Your GPA is phenomenal so all state schools and a lot of private schools will except you. Now the Ivies. That's a different story. There are many other applicants with perfect GPAs and test scores so getting into one of those is a lot less likely (but not impossible if that's your dream :) ). Now when you say 1550 do you mean Math and Critical Reading together or the whole combined total score of the SAT? Because 1550 is pretty low for someone with your GPA (My graduating GPA was 2.95, I scored 171 on the PSAT, and I got a 1930 on the SATs). Study for those tests, because test scores do make a difference in college admissions however slightly. And consider taking the ACTs too. There are so many ways to pay for college. With your GPA you will be offered ample scholarships by the university you choose, and you can also check out websites like zinch.com and fastweb.com. A great place to check the statistics of colleges your interested in is http://collegesearch.collegeboard.com/academictrac... They show what the high school GPAs, ranks, and test scores of kids who go to that college are, so that you can compare them to your information and see if you if you have a chance at getting in. Another good website is mychances.net. But, seriously the only thing so far it seems that could get in the way of your admission to a great college is your SAT scores. Honestly, studying even a little every day a month or so before the test can drastically improve your score. There are some amazing books out there (just do a search on Google). And be sure to ask your school counselor about colleges that's what they are there for. :) Good luck! You'll do well!
im sorry but i think the other person might have gotten your hopes up. Look at state schools with a SAT that low. If you can get it up to like a 1700 or 1800 then you could apply to a school like U of Washington
I say NYU. Good school, Stein school of business is renowned.
Impressive resume, by the way.
As for pay, it's fair considering other university demands for tuition. Check collegeboard.com for college matchmaking and other info on NYU.
Good luck.
Lmao! Chill the phuck out. You're a teenager; have some fun.
