About a month ago I was jumping on the trampoline and I sort of twisted my knee and got a really bad trampling burn on it at the same time. Ever since my knee has been fine, it's only when I hit the inside of my kneecap on something the pain is unbearable. It feels like a bruise underneath on the right side of my left kneecap except 10x worse. I don't know what it is and I was wondering if anyone had similar experiences.

its those darn weather again huh?
you have soft tissue damage. an x ray will show nothing. you need a consult with an orthopedic surgeon. they will know. ice and elevate the knee as much as possible. this will increase circulation to the knee, and speed whatever healing may occur. you can use an ace bandage to support the knee. ibuprofen will reduce swelling and pain. the family doc put me in steroids. they worked for three days. x rays showed no damage. it took an MRI to show soft tissue damage. within another two weeks i was on crutches. avoid this scenario. see the ortho doc asap. in my case, i had a torn meniscus.
its exactly what you said! you have seriously bruised it.
my dad does the same thing all the time only he did it so much he ended up needing surgery, just take a quick trip to the gp if you are worried, an xray wont do any harm just to put your mind at rest.
i hope everything turns out ok.

i once broke my ankle backwards on a trampoline i blacked out from the pain. It took months to heal and go back to normal.. Anyway best bet is to go the doctors dont leave it incase it stays that way.
