Which sentence 'SOUNDS BETTER'....? SENTENCE 1 or 2...?
I am including either sentence 1 or 2 in a law personal statement. I feel that the following sentences may seem awkward. Please feel free to suggest which sentence sounds better and any alternate sentence. Thanks.
***SENTENCE 1***
"During my first BSC (Honours) degree in Computer Science and Business Administration, I learned business management skills that are applicable to commmercial organizations."
***SENTENCE 2***
"During my first BSC (Honours) degree in Computer Science and Business Administration, I developed a strong foundation of business management skills."

sentence 2 by a long shot....
reasons: shorter-always a good presentation(no one will get bored)
Uses stronger words- "I learned" is horrible while presenting
You dont need the - applicable to commercial organizations
